The Yeomanry Museum is located in the base of the Norman pele tower.
It contains mementoes, photographs and military relics of The Westmorland & Cumberland Yeomanry which was raised in 1819 with five troops from local men.
The regiment was disbanded after the First World War and an Old Comrades' Association was formed which often held reunions and dinners at Dalemain.
