Enjoy the surroundings of the Dalemain Mediaeval Hall Tearoom with its open fire and soak up the feeling of days gone by, serving a delicious selection of hot and cold home-made food, speciality coffees using Farrer's coffees from Kendal and our not to be missed freshly baked scones and our very special chocolate cake.  

We also have a selection of the Double Gold and Gold Winners Marmalades for sale from this year's 'World's Original Marmalade Awards' in the tearoom and gift shop as well as the Dalemain marmalade collection.  The Plant Stall is looking amazing with a lovely selection of Plants from the garden on sale too!

For a treat we have Home-made frozen food to take home, defrost and serve using recipes perfected over the last 25 years. All the meals are home cooked and then quickly frozen to preserve the freshness and flavour. Just defrost and cook as recommended and then sit back and enjoy the delicious taste.  
 
We can also provide catering for special events such as birthday parties, small conferences, or Christmas lunches. Please enquire for further details if you are planning an event.

  • Sunday to Thursday from 10:30am to 5:00pm (April-September) 4:00pm in October
  • Sunday to Thursday from 11:00am to 3:00pm (November-March)

Homemade food is always readily available in our Mediaeval Hall Tearoom during the summer and winter season. Enjoy a pleasant meal besiside a roaring log fire and soak up the feeling of days gone by.
