Dalemain Rose Day 2018
Join us to celebrate The Tale of 100 Dalemain Roses, originally bred between 1759 and 2018, with talks, an exhibition, a tour of the award-winning Historic Gardens and rose-inspired treats to taste.
Who were the Comte de Chambord, Madame Jules Gravereaux, Lawrence Johnston, Mrs Sam McGredy and Dorothy Perkins and who named roses after them? What was the significance of the Breath of Life, Desprez à Fleur Jaune, Gloire de Dijon, Little Rambler and Persian Yellow roses?
Tickets for this event are limited and priced at £25 per person, and this includes entry to the Gardens, all Rose Day activities, a buffet lunch, and a complimentary copy of the booklet ‘The Tale of 100 Dalemain Roses’
