Admin & House Assistant

We are looking for an individual to work in the House Opening office at Dalemain, helping to run our busy tearoom and shop in the summer & assisting in the organisation of the Marmalade competition and Festival throughout the winter. 

This is an interesting job with plenty of variety.

We are looking for an enthusiastic ‘can do’ person with good communication, organisational and computer skills to work in our friendly office. The applicant will assist with general admin for the catering, on site gift shop and online shop, as well as covering lunch breaks and holidays in the tearoom.

Approximately 20 hours per week Monday to Thursday with some Sundays.

Dalemain Tearoom Cooking Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic ‘can do’ person who enjoys food and cooking with good communication and organisational skills to join our friendly tearoom team.

The applicant will assist with cooking basic homemade recipes including scones, soups, casseroles and soups for the tearoom, and will help to make sandwiches and salads to serve fresh each day.

This is an interesting job with plenty of variety throughout the year.

CLOSED SATURDAY with rotas created a month in advance. 16- 20 hours per week.
