2017 Marmalade Awards Artisan Gold Winners
For 12 years, Dalemain has hosted the World’s Original Marmalade Awards, attracting competitors from over 40 countries. Each year, only a handful of the artisan marmalades are awarded the prestigious Double Gold award. Marmalades that receive this title really are the best in the world. This year’s overall winner was Miss Minto’s Treacle Marmalade, which, as part of the prize, is now produced exclusively for Dalemain, as well as Fortnum and Mason in London.
Winner of the 2017 Double Gold Dalemain Award, Shona Leckie’s 'Miss Minto' Vintage Treacle Marmalade is made from Seville oranges and infused with Tate & Lyle’s treacle, enhancing the marmalade with an intense orange flavour and a deliciously sweet undercurrent. This quirky marmalade winner is a cheerful way to start your day, especially when served on toast. This marmalade is very popular in our shop, and 50p of each sale is donated to charity.
