Esther is consistently a very excellent marmalade maker. Her jars have won Gold awards for the last few years so it is only fitting that she picks up the top prize for this absolutely astonishing marmalade.

All our judges remarked on the cask aged gin which has a really deep whisky like flavour to it. If you like alcohol in your marmalade, this is the one for you. A gin marmalade is extremely hard to pull off and this jar had an almost unanimous vote from our judges in the final round of tasting. Esther’s daughter Libby also won Gold in the ‘Childrens Marmalade’ category this year so the house is full of talented preserve makers!
