Wigton Motor Club’s Classic Car Show is returning to Dalemain on 19th August 2018. This is the 30th outing of the Show, and organisers hope for it to be the biggest yet! The Show has gone from strength to strength, passing the 750-car mark last year.

The Cumbria Classic Car Show is the finale to Wigton Motor Club’s Rose & Thistle Challenge which sees 90 classic cars cross the Lake District to finish at Dalemain. As well as the hundreds of cars on display, there will be arena action, dozens of club displays, autotests, trade stands, autojumble stores, and a variety of food & drink options.

This year, features will include ’70 Years of the Land Rover’, ’70 Years of the Citroen 2CV’, ’60 Years of the Sprite and Midget’, and ’50 Years of the Ford Escort’.

Visitors to the Classic Car Show will also be entitled to discounted entry to Dalemain Mansion & Gardens on Sunday 19th August, with the Medieval Hall Tearoom and Marmalade Shop also open to the public.

Full details of the Show are available on the Wigton Motor Club website, or on the Club’s Facebook page.
