The Fell Pony Society annual breed show will be held here again as usual. The Fell Pony Society's aim is to foster and keep pure the old breed of pony which has roamed the northern fells for years and to circulate knowledge and general information about the pony breed. The event has been held here since 1970s when Sylvia McCosh, of Dalemain, was very involved in the organisation.

This is a family friendly held in the West Park between 9am and mid afternoon. Spectators welcome- £5.00 per vehicle for one occupant or £10 for two or more occupants. Cash only please.

Dogs on a lead are welcome, Katy Edgar Outside Catering will be in attendance.
