The Dalemain Plant Fair with Artisan Foods & Crafts is back on the 17th June 2018.

Stalls will include a selection of the best nurseries in the North, as well as artisanal food producers and craftspeople. Make a day of it with a tour of our award-winning Gardens, specialist talks, and a cream tea on the terrace!

Entry is free, and everyone is welcome!

Jane Hasell-McCosh, owner of Dalemain and Head Gardener, will be taking special tours of the Historic Gardens at 11.30am, 12.30pm and 2pm. Tours are free with a garden ticket, and will include insight and stories on ‘edible plants’ – some of which may surprise you! – from expert Jane Maggs.

Newton Rigg Agricultural College will also be on hand with gardening advice and information, and will be running a special talk: ‘How to cut down on Plastic on the Garden’. A hot topic at the moment, this talk is essential for the many keen gardeners who love their gardens but want to make them more green in every sense of the word! Come to the Newton Rigg stand at 1.30pm to find out more!
