Getting to Dalemain by Bus

The 509 Bus Route stops at Dalemain at the bottom of the drive if travelling between Keswick, Aira Force, Glenridding, Patterdale, Pooley Bridge, Rheged and Penrith between 23rd March – 1st November 2026.

Penrith is reachable in under two hours drive from Newcastle, Manchester, and Glasgow airports. There is a direct train from Manchester Airport Railway Station to Penrith, North Lakes Railway Station.
